In order to add a payment method:
- Log into your account.
- Hover over your name and click on My profile.
- Select Billing on the left side.
- Here you will see the option to add a new payment method
- Choose the type of method you want (PayPal, credit card or Sofort) and select Add Payment Method.
When the payment method has been added, this test transaction is automatically issued by our system in order to make sure that the added payment method is valid and works.
The money will instantly be transferred back into your account after this test transaction is completed.
How can I change my default payment method?
If you would like to change the payment method Lingoda will use for your next payment, please select Set as default next to the method you want, as so:
How can I remove a payment method?
Simply click Remove next to the payment method. Please note, you cannot remove your default payment method.
How can I change the currency?
To change the currency, simply select the drop-down with the currency you currently have. Different options will then show.
Accepted payment methods are credit card, PayPal and Sofort. Please note that the payment methods vary according to country. Lingoda does not accept bank transfers as a payment method.
