If you ever need to change your payment method or have to add a payment method for the first time, this article may be helpful for you.
In order to add a payment method:
- Head to our website and log into your account.
- Hover over your name with the cursor and click on “My profile”
- Scroll down until you see “Payment method”
- You can now add your new payment method.
If you already have a payment method and add a new one, the new added payment method will automatically become the new default.
When you add a payment method, you may likely realise that a test transaction of 0.50 USD/EUR/RUB has been made. Not to worry - this is absolutely normal.
When the payment method has been added, this test transaction is automatically issued by our system in order to make sure that the added payment method is valid and works.
The money will instantly be transferred back into your account after this test transaction is completed.
Accepted payment methods are credit card, PayPal and Sofort. Please note that the payment methods vary according to country. Lingoda does not accept bank transfers as a payment method.
